BJJ Tournament Recap – AGF 2013 Fall Classic

By October 16, 2013December 30th, 2016BJJ

It was pretty cool to see War Tribe Gear all over the mats this past weekend as the American Grappling Federation (AGF) held their latest Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu  event, the 2013 AGF Fall Classic at Burleson High School in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

Like with most Texas BJJ tournaments, the competition was fierce at this one with competitive grappling action to be found in all divisions – whether it be with the male, female, or kids brackets on the mats.

As far as Texas BJJ tournaments go, American Grappling Federation (AGF) has been a great supporter of War Tribe Gear and vice versa. Our logo could be found all over the place, from the officials’ tables to the barricades and even the winner banners and medal podium. All very cool!

Maybe the best thing though wasn’t our name everywhere but the grappling action with the competitors that came to represent at this BJJ tournament. It was awesome to see some of the top competitors sporting War Tribe Gear gi’s to the event – including Levi Mowles who won his division along with the absolutes while wearing our patent-pending Kevlar performance Gi!

He was joined by a ton of other top grapplers including Donnie Blue, Cam Buchanan, Derrick Krantz, Jeff Hammond and a host of others sporting the WTG at this one while rolling and having a good time at the competition.

Check out some of the pics below along with some match videos from the event.

See you at the next one!
