ROGER GRACIE SUBMITS BUCHECHA & ANNOUNCES RETIREMENT




Having been absent from competitive jiu jitsu for over five years, today saw Roger Gracie submit Marcus 'Buchecha’ Almeida inside eight minutes at the Gracie Pro.

Gracie fended off a number of single-leg takedown attempts, before eventually pulling guard. From here, a sweep / scramble sequence saw him gain control of Buchecha’s back, where he went on to win via collar choke.

In his post fight interview, Roger also announced his retirement from jiu jitsu.
