It seems a lot can happen in six months. Rewind back to November of last year and Gabriel Arges, a rising star from team Gracie Barra, was contemplating his potential omission from the Nogi Worlds due to injury, and with it his last chance of a major gold in 2015. Not only did Arges rally his strength and walk away as nogi world champion, he went on to receive his black belt on the podium, before picking pick up European and Abu Dhabi World Pro titles the following January and April respectively. Like we said, a lot can happen in six months.

“It’s such a blessing man,” says Arges on his amazing run of results. “If you stop and really think about things, you never know where you’re life is going to take you. It’s crazy when you stop and think about it.”
