WAR TRIBE ATHLETES MACKENZIE DERN , STEVEN PETERSON, KEVIN AGUILAR CONFIRMED FOR LEGACY FC 61 MAIN CARD

The Legacy FC 61 event was recently announced and takes place on Oct. 14 at The Bomb Factory in Dallas, Texas .The event has a nearly full lineup and three War Tribe athletes are already part of the main card.

Putting his title on the line ,War Tribe athlete and Legacy Bantamweight champion, Steven Peterson (14-4) will fight Mark De La Rosa (7-0) in the main event of the evening. Meanwhile, another War Tribe athlete and current Legacy Featherweight champion, Kevin Aguilar (11-1) will defend his title against former champion and UFC veteran, Damon Jackson (9-1-1) in the co-main event.

With a technical submission win over Manny Vazquez at Legacy FC 56 event last June, “Ocho” Peterson earned his Legacy bantamweight title. Now he will defend his belt for the first time against the undefeated De La Rosa.

Carrying a three-fight winning streak in the first potential defense of his belt , “The Angel of Death” Aguilar meets Damon Jackson at Legacy 61, who vacated the title ahead of a three-fight stint in the UFC and now returns to Legacy FC in his first post-octagon appearance.

World Jiu-Jitsu Champion and War Tribe athlete, Mackenzie Dern made her professional MMA debut with Legacy FC last July, defeating Kenia Rosas via decision . Mackenzie Dern (1-0) now will face Montana Stewart (5-2) , who has five consecutive wins, including four by submission.
