About Brandon

Brandon is involved in many aspects of the MMA and BJJ industry. Ever since he started training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, his mindset has been that a fight is about a finish and a victor. His lineage is what kick started that approach because grappling masters in his lineage are known for being aggressive attackers. “I use my Jiu Jitsu mentality in my businesses. Attack from all angles.” states Mr. Quick. Iphone/Android apps, tournaments, a growing affiliation, DVDs, seminars, online training, commentating MMA and cornering MMA fighters are all an integral part of Brandon’s daily life.

Champions and medalists stood on the podium at IBJJF Pan AMs, Worlds, Nogi Pan, Nogi Worlds and regional IBJJF tournies from BQuick JJ including Brandon but he sees himself as an instructor and coach more than a competitor.

A major part of the BQuick Jiu Jitsu Network’s success is strong fundamentals but also keeping up with the constant evolution of BJJ and cross training in Sambo, Judo, Wrestling and MMA. Ryan Hall, Drysdale, Eddie Bravo, Jamie Walsh, Gui Mendes, Judo Olympian Brian Olson, Keenan Cornelius are some of the names that have taught at BQJJ headquarters. BQ is known for his ability to translate information to the student very well and have them apply what they just learned immediately into their game. His style is what he calls “Attacking Muscle Memory.” Attacking the movements of a grappler’s habits is what catches an opponent off guard. He is also known for his knowledge of Leg Locks. Jiu Jitsu Magazine featured him twice and one of them was a 10 page spread on leg locks.
