This was my very first Gi purchase. The Gi itself is very well made. War Tribe was recommended to me by a few of my training partners and I am sure glad I listened. Right out of the box the Gi fits amazing. I am 5’11” 192lbs and decided to go with the A2 size. Being on the upper end of the A2 size I was worried about the fit being a little too snug. However, Pants are spot on for length and a comfortable fit. The jacket fits great around the chest, shoulders and arms. The sleeves are just a little bit long for me, maybe ½” but that should shrink up a little in time. Rolling last night, I had no issues with the sleeves getting caught or coming over my hands.
Overall, I am highly satisfied with my choice in Gi. I highly recommend War Tribe for its quality and will definitely be making another Gi purchase in the near future.

Wonderful gi. Just taking it out of the bag you can feel the quality. The fit was perfect. I’m 6’1” and 195 and the A3 was perfect. I tried wearing a rash guard but with the lining in the gi that was not needed. I quickly took that off and loved the gi even more. Nobody in my gym has a war tribe gi but they all sure raved about mine.

I am 6′, 175 pounds. Went w A2L. Have an A2L from Flo which is a little longer in jacket length. It is 31″ after wash where my War Tribe Patriot is 30″ after wash. Taking a little getting used to shorter hemline, but starting to like it now that I am getting used to it.

Haven’t rolled much in it yet so can’t speak to durability but definitely comfortable. And teammates like the looks and style.

I’ll buy more War Tribe, but need to see what is available in A2L. Or may consider A3 and wash in warmer water to get some shrink. All my other gi’s are A3’s which have been washed and are longer. But as noted, I think I’m getting used to the shorter hemline which is cool. Any insight from War Tribe or others would be interesting!

Looking forward to lots of use in this gi and to buying other styles.

Bought this Gi for myself as a Christmas present and its was worth every penny. The Gi is well made and I get a lot of compliments at the gym. It fits great and I love the fact that my opponents have a difficult time grabbing my sleeves and the lapel is also hard to grab.
WT out did themselves with this Gi. If you are debating about getting the patriot or any WT gi, just get one and you won’t regret it.
