First off, the purple in this gi is deeper, not as bright as in the photos. It is colorful enough to say “yes, I am a girl” while still being simple, classy and professional. I get tons of compliments, from both teenagers/adults and males/females, every time I wear it.

I’m 5’5″ and weight 125-130. Chest=35″ Naval=30″ Butt=38″. I bought the A1 top and bottoms. I have rolled in it hard for a little over a month now, and it still fits nicely. Initially, I washed the top in warm and dried it on hot only twice. The sleeves are still about 2″ longer then IBJJF requirements on me. (That means they come to my wrist. I don’t mind.) I didn’t want the skirt length to shrink any more. The pants were washed in cold and hung dry. They are spot on – at my ankles. I like that they do not hug my butt like jeans. When I sit on my knees, the pants come just below the middle of my calf, making it hard for anyone to use the pistol grip. Any smaller and I would need to go up a size. If you are taller or have bigger thighs or butt, I would recommend going with A2 bottoms. The only con to this gi is that it comes with a stretchy rope drawstring, which I find too bulky.

Overall, I love it! So glad I waited! You need to add this one to your rotation! You won’t regret it! 😉
